The above video is about a rescue that BAHS participated in on March 25, 2007.  We rescued 8 adults and 28 puppies.  As of May, 2007 most of the puppies have been nursed to good health and already have wonderful homes.  The adults are still at our shelter.  6 (out of 8) tested positive for heartworms.  We will start heartworm treatments on these adult dogs in the very near future.  The cost for this treatment is $250 minimum for each dog. 
Donations of any amount would would be greatly appreciated.  If we should receive more money than we need for the Stahl dogs, we will apply the remainder to treatments of other heartworm positive dogs.
